so heres some images from the 2007 boston burlesque expo. it was a frustrating night.. the girls were great.. the promoter was a dick.

this story didnt get as much play as i had hoped, but it was a good experience. i havent worked with anything over 70mm for quite a long time.. because we werent given access backstage until the end of the performance, i had to shoot everything with a 70-200/2.8 L non is.

you may notice some strong tones as well.. this was the first edit of images i’ve done in lightroom, and i was experimenting with color presets. its a great program, and i encourage everyone to scrap whatever they were using. check it out here

  3. btw.
    yes, they do look desaturated.
    I find that you will need to shoot the 5d in nuetral if you edit in LR and shoot jpg. The tone curve the 5d applies in “standard” and other modes is fucking steep and will have you messing around with some fucked tones.
