thankyou Mustafah Abdulaziz, general pimp and slightly above average photographer, for the title.

this weekend saw visits to pastis with nat, bryant park with a slew of unemployed yet highly entertaining interns, a tour de force of hipster nation williamsburg where i will be moving in under a week (success), mice running across apartment floors in the west village, and the smell of something that died in the new york subway.

i watched a thunderstorm from my raised train platform in queens strike down into manhattan. that was pretty spectacular. i was out for the night and didnt bring the strap.. but speaking of, i’m really proud of nyc leica owners.. i bump into at least one a day. i have 5 rolls of 35 and 1 roll of 120 shot on the seagull that need to be run.. thats on the list for this week.

sat and listened to the not exactly world famous new york jazz collective for the second time this weekend in washington square park with xstina and her friend

here’s what caught my eye in the world.

back to the grind. class starts in the morning and i’m really (not) excited.

with class starting i dont know how many diatribes i’ll be inspired to write, but photos on the otherhand will be flowing. thats about the only thing i’ll be doing for the next 16 weeks. less words, more photos.

i will also be switching over to my domain, with a newly designed blog to accompany a newly designed portfolio. thanks for the constant support.. i watch the hits grow and am flattered that people are taking interest in this page.

hope this finds everyone well

so i’m in boston.. here for a week, then vegas for my birthday, then back to boston for a few months. im glad to be in a new city.. i always love that feeling.. but i’m not looking forward to the workload. la was too easy. speaking of easy living..

leica m6 coupled with the 35/2 summicron which i traded back for my pops 35/1.4 Summilux just for that beautiful contrast that only the cron can deliver. these were all shot on provia 400 in one rediculously long day.
