This past weekend was the VII seminar in dena. 7 of the 9 photographers.. some really dedicated staff members and a few exceptional alumni interns.. a dash of boogie, marcus bleasdale, and jessica dimmock .. check.

had the chance to see Bonobo spin in San Francisco on my birthday.. SF was a breathe of fresh air.. it was excellent to see so many familiar faces that i had been missing for far too long. Contrary to popular belief, Simon Greene is nasty on the decks and i wrecked myself on the dancefloor for hours.

its ok josh, i still love you, and thanks for coming to the bay area sidewalk rage-a-thon. everyone check out this weeks sack of songs over at bwank… the feist remix is blazing!!

it was good to visit, but damn i’m glad to rid myself of the hippies running rampant. love em, but hate em. i checked out this years “Power to the Peaceful” festival in golden gate and took a sampling of societies finest. hope you all enjoy.

its been over a week since i’ve last posted.. the fourth of july was explosive in more ways than one. thankyou uncle T for the food, and the Metoyer’s for their unflenching hospitality year after year.

Jose Cuervo, Captain Morgan, and whatever that tequila was with a reindeer on the label – thanks for the date with Bud’s toilet.

had a chance to hang out with Mustafah Abdulaziz today and i know i’ve plugged him in the past, but i’ll say it again. This kid is one to look out for, and i wish him and his beautiful fiance Lori all the best that life has to offer.. really cant emphasize what a pleasure it was to spend the afternoon amongst excellent photographers, and of course, jazz music.
